I actually remember doing this as a kid. Mum's food always seemed better than mine, although I can't remember wanting to eat her dinner - just the "snacks" she would make, and always her drink! I am sure she shared more times than she wanted to.
I loved it when I could eat whatever I wanted to without having to share!
Lately I have found myself sneaking to the cupboard and very quietly getting something to eat so that I don't have to share it ha ha! Surely I'm not the only person who does this? As soon as there is a crinkle of paper, or even a slight noise in the cupboard, I hear an instant patter of footsteps making their way to the kitchen..."mummy more?"
Maybe I should apply this to my life..."Sharing is good because it makes everyone happy"
Hahaha, Hallie, my daughter, does this too! Except she doesn't yet say "mummy more" like your civilized child. I just get the little seagull tapping my legs with "mah, mah, mah, mah".
ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry, you're not alone; I sneak stuff all the time so I don't have to share :P
